Icon4 B16a obd0 ef wiring question

Ok so it's my first Ef project and first obd0 project , I have the jdm b16a in and already converted to mpfi correctly, and injectors and dizzy all pinned and all that. But I'm stuck on the vtec wiring . I'm using the stock dpfi harness with a pr3 ecu, and I know where the vtec selinoid , oil pressure switch ,knock sensor and 02 pin to, but on the harness plugs there are existing wires . Should I cut and cap existing wires or should I splice them into the existing wires??
On the existing wires For stock ecu are / what they are on pr3
a-8 lock-up Control SolenoidValve. / vtec selinoid
b-5 alternator. /. Oil pressure switch
b-19 ELD /. Knock sensor
c-8 EGR Valve Lift Sensor/. Second o2
should I cut and cap them or should I splice the wires into those going into the ecu plugs?
also are the knock sensor and second o2 necessary for a pr3?

depin and remove them. B5 isnt used on a jdm set up. remember its pinned to your old dpfi set up. obd0 b16 doesnt use them so they are not needed for the old functions, they now have new functions.

knock sensor yes, unless you have it bypassed. 2nd o2, I did fine with just 1 o2 back when I was obd0. I may still have my old chipped pr3.
