1991 Integra...did new struts and steering rack. Drove it for 50-60 miles before alignment(no noise,rattles). After alignment, steering column rattle over bumps(have appointment to take it back at a later date). Feels like it's originating from the steering rack but just a hunch. Maybe something they didn't tighten(nut at the rack knuckle??)

you can always tighten it yourself....

yes, that nut, or pinion tension adjustment, is really the only adjustment you have available.

but why are you asking a forum about this? why not just go straight back to the shop and tell them, hey i have a new noise, figure it out.

also, steering column pinch nut on the universal joint could also be loose and a source of play.
