Default B20vtec fit

Been working on this for a couple of days now. I bought everything cheap and don't fancy going the kswap .
Engine fits in really well. B16 shafts work .I'm using hasport eg mounts and making some base plates.
I do need to chop up the subframe but not the rack to fit the shifter rods and header .
im using a ek engine wiring loom to make it easyer.
Fits really well
Need to drill the old mount off then I can fab up some mounting points. The pic makes it look really close to the rail bit it's not bad.
Bit of notching and the mount will fit like oem
Drive shafts look to line up ok

Interesting. I figured the K swap would be a lot easier due to the fact the engine is orientated the same way as L series and also has cable shift linkage...

From the people I've talked to the kswap mounts use the fit rubbers which are too soft . There is no wiring loom shafts or headers for a kswap fit .so alot of parts need to be made plug I paid $450 for the car and $450 for the b20vtec conversion

Had to chop up the subframe . I also have to cut the center section out so the shifter and header fits.

Reason was a k20a2 is like £1500 over here then you have to buy 2 sets of mounts and all the other kswap stuff. I know people that have done it and it's cost them around £7000 .
well I paid £250 for the car and £250 for the b20vtec full swap plug I don't like doing what every one else is doing .I like to use my imagination .

This is slick! It looks like a fun project. The chopped up subframe makes my stomach hurt! Lol

Maybe they are waiting for the proper water pump and timing belt to arrive. In the pics from early March, the wrong ones are installed on the engine mounted to the engine stand.
