Default Has anyone ever converted their headlights

Converted them to accept PIAA style and size foglights to fit in where the projector lense would normally be on the low beam side, i want bright headlights without spending 400 on HID's

fog lights guaranteed will make your headlights worse than what you have now. Fog light bulbs are made to put out a short wide-spread beam to help light up the sides of the road in foul weather, etc. You want more light? Do a 9005 conversion. Click my sig for instructions. That will get you a 70% increase in light output over stock 9006.

I've seen a Del Sol w/ some fog lights in the center/closer round lights of the del sol.. it looked pretty ugly as there was a lot of gap and it just didn't look right... I asked the owner about it and he said "its bright as hell" but w/ that APC banner on his windshield and a primered body and blue headlights I don't know if I'd value his opinion...

like patrick said it would probably make the light pattern and visibility worse.. since fog lights are designed to be placed pretty low and their beam pattery is supposed to be low and spread out.. .I think on some fog lights theres a cup or something.. to prevent the light from shining high and make the light output spread out rather than shine far...

do the 9005 conversion and get foglights or HID's if you want more light output than that...

they have a $10 rebate on Sylvania Silverstards... its $40-50/pair depending on where you get them.. and w/ the rebate.. its really not that much.. takes about 30 mins to do..

how dumb, those round lights were already foglights to begin with.
