Hey, My name is MinhMeo. I'm very new to this "build log" but hey whatever. Just picked up a 1994 Integra GSR and wanted a create a build log of what I'm doing with the car and the progression to where it will eventually end up.
Shout out to my uncle Leftyz for inspiring and literally taking me step by step through this build. Shout out to my Cousin Terror(Brian) for the extra hands and also helping out with the build. Without further ado here is my Integra.
So first and foremost I took a look at what needed to be replaced. Turns out everything. All my bushing were bad and of course, I redid all my fluids(oil, coolant, brake, clutch) and started to clean the motor to see what seals I need.
@White95SIHB I bought the car with the lip attached already; the guy had the screws on lower ends of the front lip and then decided to put a big old black 10mil screw in the center to hold it up. I ultimately took it off.
As of the moment I still haven't given her a name, HOWEVER, this will be called project White Kitty. Right Around now I had invested a large sum of money into:
SHOES Rotas Grids 15 x 8 + 20 offset (so if I break them I won't be too bummed out)
Godspeed Mono Max Coilovers
Godspeed Front camber kits
Godspeed Rear subframe brace and sway bar
Tru hart rear camber kit
Hard race Front lower ball joint
Hard race front sway bar end links
and finally, Moog outer tie rod ends.
Then the worst happened. My 3rd cylinder was going out and was starting to have hard rod knocks in which ultimately seized my B18C1. In which I had to ask my uncle Pac to leave my car at his house and figure out what I was going to do about the project.
I just rebuilt my 94 GSR. I went the machine shop rebuild way. 83mm, 11 to 1, extrude hone cylinder head, valve job. It would of been faster/easier/and less expensive just to get a JDM engine/transmission combo, I would of also had LSD. I should of went that route. But I know I have a great engine, open diff, and a great driver.

Hey guys, I'm back again. So I decided to go with a B20 swap with a CTR transmission with LSD. YAY!! So converting a GSR to an LS is complicated. First I grabbed the B20 long block from JDM Engines Import for 450, and the CTR transmission from JDM of California.
After grabbing the engine and transmission, I ended up picking up a LS intake manifold and ported it as well as an LS fuel rail and the throttle cable and the butterfly. I also picked up an exhaust manifold and new spark plugs, spark plug cables and of course all new fluids. In which case since the motor was already out, we changed the clutch to a stage 1 action clutch as well as a light weight flywheel. With all the parts assembled we took out the motor and started to prep the B20.
Right about now I want to give a shout out to @slowdc2r for the help and allowing me to store my car at his place for 3 months HAHAHA. Also, shout out to @Leftyz and @thecrazyaznboi for the help and the drive to finally get this project in motion.
time for kswap...........................just kidding.
not
Kswaps are expensive, totally sought after motor, I would rather do an H2B swap but with an F20B motor so I guess it'll be called an F2B swap. Still a 2-liter motor but less sought after and produces 200 to the wheels with minor bolt-ons. AND NEARLY HALF THE PRICE!
ultimately this project came out great, I am very happy with my Integra. I can't wait to push it to its limits and see where to go from there. I also got new tires the Federals 595RSRR and picked up a detachable steering wheel set-up. All there's left to do is get on the track and see what It can do and what this car will teach me.
