2001 Honda Civic Transmission BMXA or SLXA
My daughters automatic trans is failing. How do i determine whether it is a BMXA or SLXA?
There is tons of info on these transmissions and hassles people have when replacing them, so I want to replace it with a like model.
The car has LX trim and was built in the USA. The VIN doesn't tell you. My local Honda parts guy can't tell me. All he has are the Honda part numbers.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
