oem front upper control arms bushings not centered from factory ???
Description: i have a 1992 honda civic vx, i ordered a set of front upper control arms from majestic honda , part#51450-ST3-305 and 51460-SR3-023 upon receiving said items i noticed that the bushings where not centered like the original ones from my car , i have in my possession the official honda civic 1992 service manual, in the manual it states that the bushings should be centered just like in the original control arms, i notified the dealer who sold them to me and they quickly agreed to exchange them with different ones , when they received the new control arms they notified me that they where exactly the same as the first set with the bushings off center, which leads me to wonder why? was there a change in the design in the control arms ? is there a "revised addition"? is there a factory in japan pumping out control arms with misaligned bushings ? im dying to know the answer to this, i dont want to use non-oem parts in my car
i already shipped them back, there hesitant to ship them back to me , still doesnt answer my question of whats happening here , change in product? or faulty product being stamped out by the dozen ? if its the latter honda corp needs to do something sbout this, besides referring its customers to a machine shop (its not about the money its about the principle)
