Check out 92 cx, but...
As many know my last car was stolen (90 prelude w/ JDM B20A and a lot of stuff). I've been looking for a 92 cx for autox and little drag. I was planning on just getting a b16a, or c1. Today I check out a 92 w/ 92 K miles, and about 60 K on a B18B1. I had the engine checked out, great compression, new gaskets and timing. Raced few times, then sold to a girl who never drove it hard. Has been repainted a kindof nice green, but macco job. It has intake and exhaust (cat-back). Plus some coilover sus. It is pretty stock exterior, and drives great. She is going to sell it to me for $4,000 w/o the stupid crome wheels.
Should I go for it!?
Should I go for it!?
Just got back from the gym - best thinking time.
I came to the conclusion. She wants $4,500 for it w/ the crome 17's. I'm going to give her $4,300 and sell those wheels, duh. Make more back.
Later, I just might get ITR pistons. But more than likey, ls/vtec will be done.
B16A sir 1 or 2 head a better choice? Just cams are different right?
I would buy this car in a second, but the paint job I cannot stand. Not a bad color, but not done well, I guess I will repaint later - more concerned about performance anyway.
The orginal paint is white, so the interior is white. The front bumper paint is chipping off. And white shows underneath. Could it be possible to pressure wash the macco paint job, it really seems shitty enough. !?
Thanks.

I would find something else. If you are patient you can find a cx in good condition for 2500, then get the ls swap for 1800. Cost a little more but you don't have a **** paint job to deal with either,
if u could wait i would wait... find a cheap hatch for about 1500 and b18b for about another 1500 thats 3000 only... but takes time to find a hatch for 1500... but thats not a bad hatch too if ur in a rush...
i wouldnt do it.....i really f'ed up i found a 93 charcole cx with 120k miles on it for $1000 obo
i should have jumped on it, it was completly clean

Yeah, but if I buy it with the wheels, 17's crome with new tires, I might be able to sell them for a grand. Then I'll have money for champ white paint, and the interior is already white, I should be able to handle that. Of course a B16A head will be bought and designed... What ya think?
I got my 92 stock cx for $1800.00 it had been wrecked once though but it was fixed. not to mention all the change i found when i stripped out all the interior.
it sounds like a good deal minus the chormies.

Nevermind. The owner said I counldn't come pick it up until she came back from hawaii. Then she called back and said I can come tonight, "just bring your wheels." WTF? She f**king sold the crome wheels which I said was included in the price, which I was inturn going to sell. She will only drop the price $300.
I think Spoonie Luv said it best when he stated, "She an't nuttin' but a stupid hoe!".
