VTEC is just a branding term so if honda says it's vtec, it's vtec.

Does it have variable valve timing and lift? Yes, but only on the intake valves (because with SOHC there is not enough room to do it for both)

with some stickers and a cold air intake, you can make an additional 60 more horsepower. My cousin's friend's little sister's boyfriend told me.
