Default 97 Integra GSR engine wiring question

I just purchased a 97 GSR 5-speed that runs great, but I have noticed a few issues. The biggest one is that the reverse lights do not work. I did some research and digging and found that the sensor in the transmission had no wires running to it. I also noticed a few other areas that we will say aren't factory. Lol. So my question is can I get an engine wiring harness from any 96-01 GSR or were there changes between the model years that will limit what I can use? Thanks for any help.

I'm not too familiar with the slight differences between GSR harnesses over the years but as far as the B18B harness goes for manuals, it's: 94-95 is the same, 96-97 is the same, 98-99 is the same, and 00-01 is the same. But what I would look for is a GSR harness that has the same OBD gen as your car's ecu and you should be golden. your's is a 97, so 96 thru 99 are all OBD2A. So any gsr harness from those years should work fine. I think 98-99 will have a plug for the charcoal canister that you wouldn't need to use but don't quote me on it. As far as your back-up light goes, that would be part of the transmission harness and can be bought fairly inexpensively here.
