Cam Seals remain to leak, replaced, but still leak.. 96 H22 in 96 Accord
Hparts.com has hondabond for like 11 bucks for a large tube. well worth it. i have had friends use an old cam seal and just put a bead of hondabond on it and it stios leaking. or get an STR.........always had luck with them.
thanks guys i ll try it again and can i find honda bond local? or does it have to be ordered. you know 7 dollars 11 dollars 20 dollars . i dont care, if been out of car for a month and have spend over 2k on stuff. i want it done
If you havnt used hondabond, i guarantee you this is why you are leaking. That, or when you put the cam seal in it was not in properly. Make sure it is not angled or oblong looking once it is set in place. Last time i got honda bond i think it was 6 bucks, i might be wrong though.... Its good stuff. They actually have different honda bond numbers, so if the parts guy asks you which kind speak to a mechanic and tell them you are using it for your cam seals. If he tells you not to use it, tell him he needs to quit his job.
