Default Rear end links - wrong alignment?

Hi from New Zealand - I have a 1998 JDM ITR with a few minor suspension woes, looking for someone who may have run into the same problem.

I have HardRace end links and lower control arms in the rear of my ITR, both of which are meant to be exact copies of the OEM items, only with upgraded bushings. The alignment of the end links appears to be out though, and it's causing the end of the sway bar (OEM 23mm) to rub against the link, causing a knocking/creaking sound when the car moves. It's as if the bolt hole in the control arm is slightly too far outboard. Has anyone else run into this issue with OEM or aftermarket parts?

NB: This photo is taken with the wheels off the ground & suspension at full extension, so I can imagine the issue only gets worse when it's at ride height.

Interestingly, I had the same issue when I had a different set of suspension - Skunk2 Pro C coilovers (fork type rear struts) with BuddyClub LCA's, but at the time I figured it was down to the combination of various aftermarket parts. Now with OEM style linkages & LCA's and Cusco coilovers, the problem remains. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks!
