I consider to build a low budjet B20 with B16vtec head and ITR cams for a CR-V and thinking of using YCP pistons. The only thing I wonder about is about piston noise. I have build a D series with YCP Vitara's and it sounds like a diesel engine on cold engine. It might be because the p2w clearance is set at .004
I wan't the startup on cold engine to sound as smooth as it does on a stock engine and avoid alot of noise that makes the engine sound like a piece of crap who will brake down very soon.

What is your experience about piston noise and what p2w clearance would you recommand? I am aiming for approx 230engine hp.
