Honda 94 accord lx 5 speed wont start
Ok. So i bought this car about a month ago. It drove fine for first couple weeks. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't start but was cranking. For a week i tried everything. I checked main relay switch it clicked like it should. I checked fuel pump it turns on and stays on when cranking. Pulled fuel injectors cleaned those and they all worked like they should. Checked plugs and wires im getting spark. I was also getting combustion. Checked timing belt it was right on tdc. Played with distributor one day after checking valves(which need tuned but not exactly sure how its done... I am good with vehicles and problems that ive had before but theres always new) it would start but idoled badly and shut off again. Finally found a sweet spot in diatrinutor and got it going. When running still idoling badly but not shutting off i ended up setting distributor back to where it started. Car ran great 3 days and today i drove home and the car shut off used starting fluid got car started. Started real cold and ran for about 20 miles till shutting off again. Now its back to just not starting. And its sitting at a friend's. Really hoping i can get this car running by tomorrow. Or asap. If you read all this thank you and i hope your not as confused as i am. I almost feel as if it something simple but me continually trying everything possible have maybe just skipped over something that could be the problem.
Ill check to see if gas is in hose to fuel pressure regulator to be safe i was also thinking maybe the Icm or distributor. I know the rotor button is brand new. Since the only time it started was playing with distributor maybe thinking that
