Which Clutch for a Turbo Accord?
I will be turboing my accord in the next month and my stock clutch is not going to last since its already slipping. My 2 choices right now are a Action Stage 2 kevlar or Metal. Which would you choose and why?I am leaning toward the kevlar My Turbo setup is a junkyard one running a smc/btm anywhere from 7-13 psi. In the future I plan on building another engine and using hondata and want to plan for the future. Thanks for the input.

I would read up on clutch compound materials first. Especially on that built motor....are you using an aftermarket lightened ($$) flywheel? Some compounds will chew up the flywheel; other compounds are much-much better at preserving surface life/integrity. It would be nice not to destroy your fancy-pants flywheel.
One idea that I've come across is having a less aggressive compound facing the flywheel, and a more agressive compound on the pressure plate side. Since you replace the pressureplate side anyway. Hybrid dual compounded clutch disc = cool. Talk to a clutch remanufacturing shop and they should be able to custom make one. Unless its a new OEM Daikan or Exedy set ...clutch "namebrands" are very meaningless to me. Btw, clutchmaster is all remanufactured stuff.
