EF Hydro Conversion
I am getting tired of the issues involved with the clutch cable and pedal assemblies that I think we all know all too well when running an upgraded clutch. I know Hush Performance makes a really nice full hydro conversion kit, but it seems like they are reaching a bit on price imo. I am wondering if anyone has tried something like this (Wilwood 340-13834K5: Brake or Clutch Pedal and Master Cylinder Kit Includes: Swing Mount Clutch/Brake Pedal Assembly | JEGS) in our cars and has had any luck. Seems simple enough. I fab up some bracketry (definitely doable) and run a stainless steel braided line from the master included to my slave that I already have on my hydro tranny? Too easy to be true? Help a kid trying to learn out!
I wouldn't use that kit simply because you will not have any room.
You can replicate the hush performance setup like I did. Mine seems to be working great. 1/8" plate steel make sure you brace it well and put some holes in it. 1 1/2" hole saw and some drill bits. Mount the clutch master on the inside of the car. Had to do some corrections on the bracket but its working.
Used a stainless clutch line for 92-00 civics.

I just bought the Hush bracket to reinforce the pedal assembly after I broke 2 assemblies. Seems to be holding up great with a Action 4 puck unsprung and heavy pressure plate. I may do the full conversion though. 2000 Civic Si trans.
