I bought a 96 civic about 6 months ago with a blown motor because it was dirt cheap. Its probably already paid for itself with all the money I'm saving on gas. When I first got my license I swore id never get a Honda but they have really grown on me and I wouldn't think twice before getting another one. its got its fair share of problems but at the end of the week I only spent 20$ on gas so that's always good. I also work at an independent shop/dealership so I see all kinds of cars and Hondas are pretty easy to work on most of the time.
