I felt that since I didn't see very many appearance build threads on this portion of the forum that I decided to add mine. I think that since the car has been basically a ground up restoration both on the exterior and interior it complies with forum guidelines. So where to start.. Well best place is getting into Honda's so let's get into brief explanation of where this started. I started getting into Honda's when I was about 14 and was hooked after my friends brother took us in his 98 DX coupe Civic with a B16a and I forever then loved the motors. Fast forward a few years I bought a 91 Honda Civic sedan which was..not fun and was an automatic. Next came my 1999 Honda Civic EX coupe in clover green pearl.
That car was where I started doing everything wrong that I thought was right. Fake CTR unpainted grill, eBay coilovers, fart can, black inlay eBay headlights and a fake Si front lip just to name a few. Then I started figuring out that parts would leak and others not fit properly and was told the age old saying; "Nothing fits better than OEM." So I started putting stuff back like original grill, headlights, suspension and decided on a magna flow exhaust. At this time I met my best friend tot his day and who was something of a mentor for me because I thought I knew what I was doing with these cars and then realized I knew nothing. I think thats my main thing with any of these imports is be humble and appreciate all builds. As you can see I didn't learn all of what I do overnight. Beyond that though, my buddy ended up talking me into getting an Integra and get one I did. I ended up with a 1996 Acura Integra GS-R with 140k on it and 1 owner before me, an old couple. First thing I did was lower it on Function and Form type one's which was alright for awhile.
