my 1995 civic dx automatic wont shift into 3rd or 4th gear. i have changed the transmission fluid once and hasnt helped. the car starts and runs really well it just wont shift into 3rd or 4th. should i try lucas stop slip? how do i check the shift solenoids?

 

no oil additive is going to help a bad transmission. Time to repair or replace it.
