i hove both complete vin numbers want to know model of engine they came with.
1999 vin is 2HGEJ6676TH589265. unsure witch model engine 1.6l d16y8?
1998 1HGEJ8640WL48375 this shuold be d16y8 engine. witch is the better engine?

erik ase master diesel mechanic. 26 years now. owed my share of others. tiired of working on my own when i repaired someones else all day.
great cars. also old lady is not complaining about noise since i put her in a honda too. iwas told the d16y8 good. also thinking about souping 1998 up zero rust.
