Default distributorless change over

As some of you guys might know im in the proces of building a quick class car and im in the final stages of completion but my problem is that im going with a distributorless ignition system so im getting rid of the distributor my delima is that i thought the cam seal was a dirrect fit in the hole where the distributor came from but its a hair off . My question is has anyoone ever dealt with this and what did you have to modify to eliminate the distributor thanks guys-pdang
