So back round of the car it's a 99" Integra with Type r swap on Honda tuned with 1000cc injectors. It would run fine some days then randomly die, it would take 15 mins up to a few hours to start again, I suspect the icm. Today the engine would not fire up it just cranks and cranks. I smell fuel as the engine floods so fuel is there.

I swapped in my coil and icm from my 2000 civic hatchback and it still fid not fire up. So I swapped back in my original coil and icm and fallowed this video, I Bought this rich porter distr. A few years back so I'd if it's giving up already..

to try and diagnose the ignition system a Lil with a simple test light.

my first test was grounded the test light and probed the coil and it had good spark!

second test was I probed the negative terminal on the ignition coil and the test light lit and flickered as I cranked the engine.

third test was the positive terminal on the ignition coil and the test light did not light up or flicker at all.

​​​​​​​4th test was I icolated the icm like he did in the vid and put my test light on the positive post on my battery and probed the icm terminal and there was no light or flickering. Does this point to a bad ICM or could it still be the ignition coil and further test should be done. I know my way around the engine but I'm a noon at electrical doagnosing.
