Default Cooling system

i have a 1994 Honda Accord LX. the car keeps eating up coolant have to add every morning or the car has trouble starting. It heats up about 20 mins. after driving but only when the car is idle. Changed the thermostat and was running good for about a day and then started overheating again. What could be the problem?

Both fans should be coming on together when they turn on. Check if both fans are running. If both fans are running and it's still overheating then it's possible the head gasket is leaking. You can then do a compression test to be verify if it is.

Um, wait a second. Your car "eats" up coolant? You have to add coolant every morning? Or the car has trouble starting? Wut...so its either leaking it from somewhere or burning it..ryt? any leaks? any wetness in rear of tailpipe, that tastes sweet like antiofreeze? white smoke?
"Heats up about 20 minutes after driving but only when car is at idle" ? That sentence makes absolutely no sense.
