Default Swapping to B20 soon...any d-series parts that I need to keep? Selling old engine...

Hey guys,

I have a buyer for my 92 d16z6 engine and tranny. I have a '96 CX and I am going to be swapping in a B20 in a few months. There's a guy I know who wants my engine and transmission. Besides my mounts, what should I keep and not sell, incase I need it? Sensors (which ones)?

Thanks guys..

which tranny are you using? i recently helped a friend w/ a B18C1 in 98 hatch. we had to use his stock civic driver's side mount w/ a 99 Si bracket, stock rear mount w/ 99 Si rear tranny bracket, stock civic d-series passenger side tranny mount and bracket, then for the front we used the stock GSR bracket w/ the civic mounting on the chassis. the b20 a/c bracket should work on the other side, and use the civic mounting on the chassis. this should be what you're going to need for the mounts.

I'll be using a 98 JDM spec Type R tranny...so i should save all the mounts that connect to the engine just in case?

NICE. that'll be a fun car on the highway! LSD and 4.7 FD!!

anyways, you'll need to purchase those 99-00 Si parts i listed above..go ahead and save all your mounts...what i wrote above should be your setup.

Alright, cool...

Yeah it's gonna be revving high on the highway...I'll just have to keep the speed down...

my friend has a b16 in his 00 ek hatch w/ the jdm tranny..4.7 FD..it's awesome. i have a Y1 w/ 4.4 FD and factory LSD on my b20z and it's GREAT on the interstate. imagine crusing around the beltway at 4K rpm..right where the power is...no need to downshift .

when are you dropping it in?
