Default sputtering and burning up gas...

I have a 1990 Honda accord ex. 2.2L. It has a sputtering while running that we cannot figure out. We changed the ignition, the fuel filter, the spark plugs and wires, and drained the gas tank. Code reads oxygen sensor but that's been replaced as well. Any ideas? Please help. Thanks!!! Air filter is clean as well.

What kind of oxygen sensor did you use?

I would try to clear the code and see what happens.

How does the distributor cap look inside?

Good luck,
Sam

Hi Sam. The oxygen sensor is a Spectra Premium OS5099 Oxygen Sensor I purchased off Amazon. Didn't think to look at the distributor cap because the entire ignition is less than a year old. the code wont clear, even by disconnecting the battery.

Use NTK/NGK oxygen sensor.
