Are all Prelude's considered sports cars through insurance?

yes.... the only reason a Prelude even has a backseat is for inusrance, that way it will be considered a 4 passenger vehicle, but they do consider a "sport coupe" i believe
EDIT: i also have an old BMW 318i that is considered a 2-door sedan, that had notching to do with the question i know, just thought i'd add that

All insurance companies assign every car a "symbol". The symbol is something of a risk rating based upon past claims for that particular car and model. The Prelude, like every other car, is assigned a rated risk based on statistics based on past claims.
Initailly, when a brand new car model is released, insurance companies have to base their symbols on their symbols for similar car models and body styles. But the Prelude has been out for so many years that insurers can base the symbol on actual real-world loss claim data. For the Prelude, or any car that has been availble for more than 2 years the symbol has very little to do with the car's bodystyle or numbers or doors etc.
