Well first off id likke to say whats up, and i hope ya can help me here. the problem is when i keep the engine revs around like 3 grand there is a whining sound that comes from the engine, it kinda sounds like a rusty gate squeak if ya know what i mean. And it does it if im moving or still, with the clutch engaged in neutral, and with the clutch disengaged. ne1 gotz ne ideas??

 

sounds like my altenator problem.......

 

yeah, maybe you need to lube the alternator belt? go get some dressing for it.. I had a similar problem a couple years ago.

well the car only has 45k on it so i hope it's just the belts, im gonna bring it to the dealer cuz i still gotz a warranty on it, do ya think they would freak if i left my exhaust on, or should i take it off??

 

leave it on.. as lopg as it has nothing to do with the problem.

if it turns out to be the altenator, its because of water getting to it...

after my swap... i took off all uncessary parts that in or under my engine bay, including all of the plastics thats underneith the car. that was a bid mistake for me......

when it started to rain, my altenator went out cause water was splashing on it....
