Hi, this is my first post on here and I've searched for the past few days on different forums and decided to make an account to get a definitive answer on this.

BTW I bought a 1988 Honda Civic HB.

Will this rear bumper fit my hatch? I can't find out using the part number. eBay ad says Hatch/Sedan. Could someone please help here?

 

Is there no way to go and test it or provide us with the exact measurements?

 

I'm in Australia and the bumper is in the states.

There's a lot of good info about front bumpers on here and from what I've read 1988-1989 sedan and hatch front bumpers are interchangeable. Can't find info on rear bumpers though

 

You should be able to tell just by comparing pics of the 2 cars that the bumpers are completely different lengths. FWIW that appears to be a hatchback bumper pictured.

 

Second that, the picture is almost definitely a hatch bumper.
