B18C Gearbox Issues
Sorry in advance for long post, put a lot of detail in so there didn't need to be heaps of questions
all help appreciated
Hey guys need a little help. So I've got a b18c teg and it's been manual converted. It was running perfectly fine for the first couple of months then one day while driving the passenger side drive shaft came out the gearbox. After managing to get it home and with the help of a mate we got it back into the gearbox after a but of a struggle. He noticed that the holes for the plate that bolts to the block didn't line up 100% but got them in anyways. Not long after that the drivers side inner cv came out the gearbox and munched the cog on the end. I've tried 3 new inner cvs with new clips and they keep coming out. So my question is could the people that manual converted it put the wrong shafts in and the passenger side is forcing the drivers side one to come out? If not has anyone got an idea as to what the issue is? Been told it could also be an issue with the diff.
