Is this how factor seams look in a 2004 honda civic ex? Im worried if this car has ever been rear ended. Car fax shows it's a clean title. The paint on this car is in great condition, it looks factory.

 

The seam sealer that's about 1/2" wide is factory. The globs of seam sealer is not.

 

Does it mean its possible my car has been rear ended? I mean the paint looks factory. The car has no issues. The carfaxs show its never been in any accident. Im just worried right now.

 

The paint on interior paneling behind carpet usually isn't the exterior color. Its usually the base coat color (which in this case would be a normal gray, non-metallic).

 

Well some of the factory seams are still in tact. Its just those globs of silicone are making me concerned. Everything on the car is in tact. All the bumper clips and paint are factory looking. Im thinking it could be that the previous owner had a trunk leak and sealed it himself with silicone and spray painted it to make it look nice.
