Bought this thinking id put a junkyard trans in because owner said trans was shot. Symptoms were works til warm then cant get into gear.

got the car home preaaure washed the motor to find leaks (was nasty). Startes the car to let it warm and follow my oil (lots of leaks with a major vtec solenoid one) and then pulled codes.

The p0705 says neutral safety switch but i read threads stating its not a good honda code. Also said it could be vss but usually they are an all or nothing part.

also has the speedo jumping to 20mph and tried a reflow on the pcb to no avail so ordered another speedo off the web.

any advice or help appreciated. Id like to save the car from the junkyard
