b16a2 air filter fitted directly onto tb
Is it bad to have an air filter fitted directly onto the TB? I only have the air filter but no tube. Will something like this decreased or increased performance?

Decreased performance. Also looks stupid, because it is.
Can be done in a pinch if you absolutely need to, assuming you've plugged or rerouted the PCV line. Don't leave it like this though, get a proper intake pipe.
