Hi everyone, i have a 92 honda accord lx and i recently disconnected the negative battery cable, but upon reconnecting it now the entire dash plus the headlights and taillights constantly blink on and off with kind of a ticking noise from the dash. Can anyone help?

 

There is probably an intermittent open (break) in the connection. Disconnect and reconnect the negative battery cable. Make sure the cable terminal is pushed all the way down before tightening.

Also examine the condition of the terminal and cable for frayed wires and corrosion.

 

Eh, didnt really do anything. Ive noticed now that it doesnt start doing it until i open the door to get in the car, and when it stops if i bump the steering wheel itll start again, very confused... Maybe exposed wire somewhere? Maybe its shorting out? It makes the little bell tinkle spund like ive left the headlights on, not too sure what to do
