Default Oil in distributor '00 Honda Accord Ex 2.3

Hello,

Pulled my distributor cap today and noticed a fair amount of oil in the dizzy housing. How do you all feel about re-building dizzys? I have done a bit of research on replacing the whole unit and it seems the Hitachi (OEM) goes for about 350 on majestic honda and it seems people don't like other aftermarket dizzys. Any advice on something a bit more affordable? It would be great to keep it in the 150-200 range.

Also, I noticed today that when I rev the engine in Parl the car sputters a bit and drops to a real low idle for a second like it wants to die. Related issue to the dizzy that is f@^#@^ from bein contamnited by oil or nah? No check engine light. Just replaced the air filter. Have not cleaned Idle control valve yet.

Thanks!

The distributor is fairly easy to rebuild:

That video is for the Hitachi distributors, the Tec distributors are easier.
