I have a 2000 civic si with a b20 vtec swap. Just got me a new 70mm skunk2 throttle body. I bought a new tps on rock auto. Tried calibrating it but voltage too high at WOT. At closed I'll get 0.5v at open I get 5.0v. I tried lowering it to .45 but still at open it reads 4.9. I know it's supposed to be closed .5 open 4.5.
Need help on this problem.

Set for the correct voltage closed. The wide open reading is not that important. It will be what it is, because there is only one point to adjust and that must be done at idle.

 

there are many bogus tps out there, ebay brand x and blox are 2 to avoid.
dorman for 30clams or so is a winner for me. 8)
