I've been searching for a few hours now and I can't seem to come across a solid answer, sorry if it has been asked before...

​​​What's the best way to put both ends of the spring back onto a new throw out bearing in a cable trans? Long needlenose pliers? I just don't want to bend the prongs on the spring, or even worse snap it, there has to be an easier way. It's been about 3 years since I've touched my car so my memory is so foggy, again I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. Little suckers came off so easy on the old throwout and now...
