Default 2005 civic clutch problem

I have a 05' civic and recently it started making a ticking noise when the clutch is engaged. Now the car won't move and dies when I release the clutch. It seems like the clutch is engaging. Can anyone help me?

Default Re: 2005 civic clutch problem

i always wonder what people mean when they say clutch engaged? Technically it means pedal released and clutch is contacting the flywheel. But on forums I've seen people say engaged meaning they've pressed the pedal. Clarify before we proceed.
