Hey guys,

So recently Ive figured out my electrical system on my car is falling apart so I am going to rewire the car myself with only the bare minimum basics. I have the main cabin harness completely stripped away besides the ECU portion. What I am stuck at is the Data Link and SCC (Service Check Connector).

Question #1 WTF is the Data Link for? I have never used it.
Question #2 According to my Haynes Manual the two wires coming off the SCC should be brown and Green/White. The diagram also says the Green/White wire should be tied to the IAT and ECU pin D22. Instead, I have a black and a brown wire. My black wire is tied into the ground connection for the Main Relay. The harness seems to be untampered with. Has anyone else encountered this or does this seem correct? And yes before tearing my wiring apart the SCC worked.
