Default 96-00 Front suspension differences

Expand my education on front suspension parts, based on the 96-00 Civics. So far, this is what I know. The 92-95 Civic and 94-01 Integra Steering Knuckles and Upper Control Arms are different than the 96-00 Civics.

Upper Control Arms: same ones used for all trims

Steering Knuckles: 2 versionsCX/DX/HX/GX/LX; used with small disk brakes; inner side has a cast ridgesLX/EX/SI; used with large disk brakes; inner side is smooth

Lower Control Arms: 3 versions in 2 different styles.Non-SI trims used a 2 piece cast Lower Control Arm in 2 different versions. CX/DX did not come with a factory sway bar and doesn’t have the provision for itEX/HX/LX/GX has the mounting provision for a factory installed sway bar; 22mm Sway BarSI (and JDM EK’s) uses a Stamped Steel 1 piece LCA with a 26mm sway bar

Strut Forks: 2 versions, depends on LCA.Note: the Stamped Steel LCA uses the same Fork as the 97-01 CRV

Sway Bars:

Cast LCA uses a vertical bolt mount end links

Stamped LCA uses a horizontal bolt mount end links Note: several companies offer end links to adapt different sways bars to different LCAs.Traction Bars: typically built for the 2pc LCA; however Full Race makes a set for both types of LCA.

Questions:

Steering Knuckles: Are there any other marking available; any number/letters stamped? How do you tell the difference between the EG/DC & EK steering knuckles?LCA: On the 2pc, knowing the front half (I-beam) is different between the EG/DC & EK. What about the back half?

Forks: How do you tell them apart?
