Years back this same thing happened,I took it to a shop they said it was the motor. They replaced it but its always had a real slooooow rise towards the end. But it usually finishes. Now it is stuck half way.I can get the reverse to lower it intermittently. Then try again and it goes no further than mid way and freezes. I have pulled apart the door cleaned the connectors and reconnect and same thing. I also did a search and found this thread.

redbull had given some adviceon post #21 that I tried as a test with a 9 volt battery and it made sounds and heated up the 9 volt but didnt move the glass.


What should I try next?

 

If its the motor/regulator then is this what I should order?

Well after disassembling the switch and cleaning off the contacts real good with the help from this video below, and spraying WD40 down the channel window area where the glass seems to be getting stuck a little..the glass now goes up and down better than before.

Thanks for the link, if that window kinks up again Ill be placing an order. Just not at the drive thru.

 

Hey Holmesnmanny, the window is acting up again. It gets up about 2inches from the top and slows down and the switch makes alot of clicking noises.

Before I order that part is it difficult to replace it? WillI need to completely remove the glass or just roll it down?
