2004 Honda Civic Hybrid transission issue! Please helop
Hi I bought this used 2004 honda civic hybrid recently and from the beginning it had jerking issues and a shudder when accelerating. One day I drove it home found a huge transmission fluid leak. Towed it to the garage to find out the transmission cooler went bad so the coolant and transmission fluid were mixed. Got a new radiator and coolant flush plus transmission flush. (1200$ later) Drove it home my transmissionfluid is a GREY/WHITE milky color. Took it back to the shop they did two more flushes, drove it home and fluid is still the same colour but now smells terrible. What is going on and what do I do. why does my fluidkeep ending up the same colour!
pretty sure the CVT fluid for those is a clear-ish type fluid, so if you are expecting it to be red. it never will
Well when I pull the dipstick out it appears to be a white/grey color, when I wipe it off it looks like a pink color with spots of black in it. The shop wants me to come back in and charge me for another flush (200$+) but I've already done about 4-5 which have done nothing to improve the color. Should I even bother with another flush. Seems like a never ending money grab?!
