Default 1997 Honda Civic coupe with power windows

So the other day I went to put my key in the lock to unlock my driver side door... And e damn thing popped out of place . Would I have to take the door latch out?

Open the door and take the inner panel off of the door. The key cylinder is a separate part. It moves a push-rod to lock and unlock the main latch assembly. You may want to hire a locksmith to set up a new cylinder to take the same key that already fits the rest of the car.

thanks mk378, I'll try doing that , but if the cylinder got pushed inside the panel wouldn't I just be able to put the cylinder back into its original position?

B is what went deeper in the panel and now my key can't go inside the cylinder . Could I just align it back into place and that would fix the issue?
