Default suggestions please!!

i have 94 accord dx coupe w/ about 142,xxx k on it. thinkin about doing my h22 swap but theres a problem. i want MT instead of AT and i'm getting mixed answers to my question. some say it'll cost a lot and others say it won't. is there anyone that actually did this conversion with an h22 swap? cause i'd much rather get the answer from someone who actually did it. oh yeah....and does anyone know any good shops around nyc that do good swap? thanks

I had an auto-manual done with my H22 swap. Expect about an extra $400 in labor and $600 in parts. In NYC I heard of people having work done at RPM Motorsports.

i did the same swap on my 4th gen and it is really not that complicated. If you are getting the tranny with the engine that is a big plus. You will need a new brake pedal, a clutch pedal assembly, a clutch master cylinder, clutch lines, a shifter assembly, shift linkages and a ctarter relay. If you get tranny w/ engine it should come with the slave cylinder and dampner attatched, if not you will need that too. Most of the stuff is available at a junk yard for cheap. It might save you some money if you take those parts to the shop. I did the swap with help from the techs at work and it did not cost $400 for parts. E-mail me at Nik3man@aol.com and I will give you more info.
