After 20-30 minutes of driving there will be a sudden loss of acceleration with difficulty maintaining speed. Accelerating rapidly and the symptoms don't occur but will occur again after reaching a cruising speed. When idling there are no apparent symptoms and no unusual noises from the engine compartment.
