Default Fixed - Power steering pump bubbles whines

Have I missed anything?
Just got this 2007 CR-V EX and "knew" the PS pump was bad. No joy so far.

• Replaced Power Steering Pump
• Replaced notorious O-ring
• Cleaned the internal screen in the reservoir and rinsed out with fluid
• Re-installed camps in original position
• Vacuum checked reservoir
• Vacuum checked suction tube
• Flushed system with Honda specific fluid

STILL getting bubbles in reservoir and whine at 3k or higher. Bubbles subside at idle. Bubbles and whine don't appear at steering lock either side. Next I'll replace the reservoir, feed tube, end piece with O-ring, and clamps even though they passed my tests. I'm pretty sure the only place air can enter the system
is between the reservoir and the pump. Any help would be appreciated, sorry for the long post but I wanted to avoid the more info ping pong.

Default Resolved -?Power steering pump bubbles whin

Replaced can, hose, clamps, and cap. No joy. Was at my half-wits end so I did the only thing that made no sense. Assume the new pump was trash and that the old pump was sucking air because of a blocked reservoir screen. The old pump was perfect. Problem solved, now to return the DOA new pump.
