92 Integra crank no-start
So I just got done rebuilding my B18A1 and the thing will crank everytime but will not start. Here is some things I've found to help find the problem:
Fuel pump primes, main relay clicks, injectors are clicking and the brand new spark plugs are black on the bottoms and smell like fuel. So I know fuel isn't the issue..
We pulled the plugs and put a spark plug in them and grounded them on the transmission housing and saw spark from each one.
Timing is perfect, at TDC the cam gears are facing up and the lines line up perfect in the middle, and the distributor rotor is facing cylinder 1.
Also we have charged the battery up completely and also tried using the battery from my 2014 ford focus and it still would not fire. So I'm sure the battery couldn't be the issue.
It is a B18A1 with stock piston and rods, crank was polished, ACL bearings, Hastings piston rings, ARP head studs, cometic head gasket, and 440cc injectors. It has a Garrett GT25 on it with a 7 pound wastegate spring.
Just not sure why it will not fire. We think it might be a weak coil in the dizzy but not sure. We are buying a new one and I will get back to you if that fixes it, but just wanting to see if you guys think of any other problems that could be the case. Thanks!
