Default Throttle Body info needed.

Anybody know where I can get some detailed info on the Throttle Body Injection on my '91 and '92 Accord EX's ? Specifically I need to know what the 2 passages at the firewall side of the intake plenum are for.

For those that tuned in on the TB spacer thread I have hit a snag and need to do some modifying on my spacer to make it fit and I don't want to block off anything important.

From what I have heard, TB spacers are useless on Honda's. Spacers are popular with American muscle cars because they are carburated and can benefit from them.

Freudian slip, it "looks" like a TB. Anyway, moot point,I just checked out a '93 EX which it IS supposed to fit. Uh Uhhh, won't fit that either. So for anybody that was thinkin' about it........DON'T. I'm gonna see if I can return it.

No. The mounting holepattern is asymetrical plus the horizontal distance between the centerline of the mounting holes differs by about 5mm.

Spacers "can" increase air flow velocity into the plenum and increase mixture velocity which helps low speed torque and throttle response. Spacers do work on throttle body applications as well as carbureted and I was hoping to test one out to see if it would work on this type of injection system as all I get is people telling me they either will or won't work buy it seems no one else has actually tried one. I wanted to see for myself, I'm gettin' pi$$ed off enough I may go ahead and modify the damn thing anyway.

Hippie, one of the spaces on the firewall side of the intake goes to the IAC valve. It wraps through the casting to the front of the manifold. The other hole is for the cold start solenoid located just under the TB. Hopefully this is what you are talking about.
