Default Throttle Body Actuator Pinout Description Help

I am hoping someone could help me understand each function of the 2007-2009 throttle body pinout.

I attached a few pictures of the throttle body.

My understanding of the data sheet is this:

pin 1: TPSA - the sensor that measures the voltage going through throttle position sensor A

pint 2: VCC3 - the reference voltage

pin 3: TPSB - the sensor that measures the voltage going through throttle position sensor B

pin 4: SG - the ground pin

pin 5 and 6: ETCSM (+/-) - These are some type of relays that help with the fail safe

I would really like to know how pins 5 and 6 work. I know that they are relays but I just don't know how to connect them.

By understanding the pinout, I hope to make the throttle's valves open and close.

Thanks for the help.

What is the point of this?

The PCM controls the Throttle Body plate.

The VCC wire is the reference voltage (5 volts) from the PCM to the two Throttle Position Sensors. The SG is the sensor ground from the PCM to the Sensors.

Both TPS are variable resistors which varies the feedback voltage signal to the PCM based on the angle/position of the Throttle plate. As the Throttle plate opens, one sensor starts at 5 volts and decreases to 0 volts. The other sensor acts inversely, and starts at 0 volts and increases to 4.5 volts. (The Sensors do not measure the voltage as indicated in your post).

Using feedback from the TPS and Sensors from the Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensor, the PCM controls the Throttle actuator
motor. One wire is for the motor positive (+) signal and one wire for the motor negative (-) signal. (They are not relays as indicated by your
post).

The actuator consist of the Throttle Position Sensors to provide feedback to the PCM, the PCM operates the motor and gears to move the Throttle plate.

I have an 06 civic and the voltages on TPSA and TPSB do not behave as he said. They both increase from .5 to 4.5 or so. But I'm having a problem with low rpm misfires. I cant find anywhere with the specs for the voltages. If one is supposed to reduce from 5 to 0 with throttle application then I have a problem.

I have the same problem with my 06 if you have found a solution let me know tps a is at 13.3 at idle and tps B is at 31.0% I’m not sure but maybe these numbers should be the same?

on my vehicle I noticed the red and black wire I think is pin number 1 is pulled out. What would that cause my car to do or not do

NOT work properly... put the wire/pin back in the connector.

I tried that but still the same problem. It won't start unless I press the gas, it won't rev in park, I have to put it in neutral, then it only revs up to 3500 rpm, then I put it in park and it will rev to 3500 rpm. It also won't go pass 30 mph. I'll try it again I am not sure it made contact
