Icon5 Diagnostic Electrical Issue: 1989 Accord LX OBD0

1989 Honda Accord LXI coupe114,000 original miles Have exhausted abilities of local Honda Dealer. Changed/checked almost everything. Wife can't trust it to restart when out on an errand. Restarts after about 15 minutes. All dash lights come on, but no click to the starter. The next turn of the key it starts real strong. untrustworthy. Is there a component that requires some time to "Reset'? The dealer takes my $100+ each time with no problem. Thanks.

try jumping the starter, should be how-to's on youtube, be safe and make sure the car is in neutral or park

Souuds like a bad ignition switch.

Gonna need a DMM and diagram to check.
