I was just in an accident and I need advice for repairs.
Hello, I was just recently in a collision with a 2001 white BMW (was her fault !!). Anyway, I damaged my front, right corner light, front right quarter panel (I think that's what it's called) and the right side of my bumber is damaged.
Now, would you all recomend me just getting a new bumper and quarter panel and just replacing the light, or would I be better off going somewhere and having them repaired (if at all possible)
If you all were in this situation, what would you do?
Thanks alot!

yeah the quarterpanel has to be cut and welded. that is a pain. take it to the dealer , let them rape her on the money
The bad thing about all of that is the officer ruled it a no fault accident, so therefore I cannot coolect insurance off of her or her off of me.
Hey, she didn't stop at the f-in' stop sign, while I was on a main road with all the traffic...
So basically, everything that is going to get done is going to be either out-of-pocket (to save on insurance increase) or get the insurenace to pay for it and have my rate increased...
Thanks!!

After I hit her, she gets out of the car screaming! Like it was my fault! Then she starts on about saying how she has all this money and how she is more important than I am because of this money, and that I have no idea what I just did by hitting a bimmer. It was real depressing, but then I just laughed because I hit a nice car with my 1990 honda! LOL!

take the insurance money and spend it all on weed.

buy the fender, bumper (depending on the damage, although chances are it's repairable), and corner light (get that on ebay though, theyre 12$ per pair) and fix it yourself. fairly easy. although, you may want a shop to paint the panel and bumper for you. then spend the rest of your hard earned money on weed, or whatever makes you happy.
try asking some body shops about refinished parts. most come with a lifetime warranty unlike new parts from the dealership so you know they have to be good quality. i was hit last springand that's what the body shop told me, saves lots of $$.
If the car was yours legally (title in your name) and you have no assets, I'd file a suit claiming it was her fault. Find a lawyer who will work on contingency basis. Basically, you want to be soooo annoying that she just settles and pays for your damages. That's definately one thing ppl SHOULD'T do is talk about their money. (she must be new money). Hell, it only costs $40 to file here in LA....
Edit: going the car insurance route isn't the only way to collect on an accident. You could still file a personal injury suit to try and collect for damages and legal fees.
